Heaven is a place of everlasting worship, peace victory as well as God's centre of operation. Imagine yourself seated next to the likes of Moses and Abraham, having a meal on the same table?
That is possible through his grace and everlasting mercy to those who also sacrificed a lot during their life time. Heaven is by grace, say the scriptures, but does not mean that people have to just sin and forget God and live their lives as they please because they risk missing that grace.
Heaven is there and for sure it is a reality.

THE TONGUES
Tongues are the gift from the Holy Ghost. The word says he who speaks in tongues speaks to no man for no one understands him, but rather speaks to God. Speaking or praying in tongues is good for the individual' self edification. The bible also says we do not know how we ought to pray as individuals so by praying in tongues we are made to pray for some of the things that we are aware of.
Tongues need not to be discouraged because they bring worshippers closer to their creator.

FASTING LINKS YOU WITH THE CREATOR
Fasting is a form of disciplining the body so that it becomes subject or docile to God's spirit. If properly done, fasting real produces the intended results. Jesus challenged his disciples in his sermon on the mouth that when they are fasting they should not disfigure their faces like hypocrites who do that so their fasting could be seen by man.
Should one publicize his personal fasting, the individual automatically loses his reward from the father. Fasting strengthens the individual and draws them nearer to God as it is a step of showing dependence on God. You start your own private fasting; do not always wait for an announcement from the church.

DO YOU LIKE YOUR PAST?
Everyone has his or her own past or background which they are not happy with it. They hate it so much that they do not even want to be reminded of. Maybe you aborted, killed or done something horrible and you are still worried even today about it. If you have accepted Christ as your Lord just forget about it and turn to your maker who makes us perfect.
In the house of God background is nothing but a stepping stone. Do not let it weigh you down but rather stand your ground and shine in the house of the father. No one is perfect for the word says all have seen and fallen short of the glory of the father.

THE JUDGEMENT DAY
The bible says on the last day Jesus will come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne from which he will separate the sheep from the goats and is the righteous from the sinners.
Just think of yourself on that day! Are you ready for it or you still feel that you need more time so that you can set right your relationship with God. But how much time do you need if that is the case because for sure that day will one day meet you. It is important to remember that one day you will find yourself in a spiritual form after your death and that will be the beginning of everlasting life. However, there will be two issues involved should you find yourself in that condition. It is either you are destined for Heaven of hell. The two are determined by the kind of life you would have lived while on earth.

Jehovah is a Mighty God and the word says he is the same yesterday, today and forever more. God is not like us men who change like the weather. When you worship God, you do not have to do it basing on what he has done in your life because if you approach him with such an attitude you will not last in his house. The genuine worship and praise given to God is not based on his performance in the individual's life.
I am saying this is dangerous because once you feel like God is not doing anything in your life you may stop worshiping him. However, God never ceases to do good thing in people's lives, it is only that manifest at an appointed time. Whether you are sad, angry, dejected or disappointed just remember the name of your father.

WALKING IN FAITH
2Corinthians 5v7 says "For we walk by faith and not by sight." This means that as a Christian you life should not be determined by the things that you see around because the bible says they are temporary. Walking by faith entails means treating things that are not seen by naked eyes as if they were in existence. Taking for example, Abram had to change his name to Abraham, meaning father of many nations when he did not even have a single child and when Sarah his wife was barren.
It took the man of the Old Testament's faith to believe that for sure he was the father of many even if there was no sign whatsoever on the ground indicating that he would be a father of even one considering that his wife was already at menopause.
Abraham walked in faith and staggered not at the promise of the one in the heavens until Isaac was born from whom the great nation of Israel sprouted. When declarations are made about your life, take them and walk in them until they manifest in reality.

The Bible says God chastises those he loves. He is like a father to his children and makes sure that the children are on the right path by disciplining them. Let us not be angry when we are corrected even if we do not understand the purpose of the correction.
Remember you do not belong to yourself but to God who bought you for a price, therefore he has the authority to do whatever he wants to do to you. It is very disheartening to see people who were previously on fire for God having grown cold. This is what can be termed as backsliding. Saint Paul, the great evangelist for the Gentiles also expresses his disappointment on the Galatians who had started well with Christ but later bowed down. He thus says, "O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you?"
To avoid backsliding in your church make sure that you are involved in the activities or ministries that will keep you occupied with the things of God. If you are not a member of any ministries you will not be challenged rather you will be highly critical of what other people are doing and you will not feeling accountable to anyone.
Avoid such a scenario lest you collapse for good. Stand up and start working for your creator and prepare for your future in eternity.

The patriarchy ideology says a man is superior to his wife and as a result he has authority over her. This is compounded by payment of lobola, and some men have taken that as an advantage to oppress their supposed dear ones.
The word of God says wives have to submit to their husbands have to love their wives in a manner Christ loved the church. By implication women have to captivate the love of their husbands by merely submitting themselves to them.
It defies Christian principles for couples to be always at each other's throats. May I challenge men to respect their wives and women to also do the same so we can live in peace and harmony as children of God because heaven is a reality.

FORGIVENESS
Not even a single individual is perfect whether saved or not. Whoever says he or she is without blemish deceives himself and makes God a liar. We were all sinners and God forgave us from our iniquities by sending us his only begotten son, Jesus who died in our place in the process washing away our sins. This made God the Father of forgiveness and God's children Christians must learn to forgive one another.
Forgiving a person simply means totally forgetting bad things that the individual has done to you and treating them as if they never did any wrong to you. It does not matter how many times the person would have wronged you. Remember Jesus said you have to forgive seventy times seven, which means there is no limit to that. Lets us try it and see. Do not be always hard on people hey!

Whatever you go through God is in control
Hard times come to everyone whether rich, poor, Christian or non-Christian. Some Christians are of the idea that being believers is an exemption from pain or suffering, misfortunes or misery. No, that is not the case. What is important is for one to be always prepared to handle such times when they come by so that they are not destroyed when they come.
Should these times come your way, do not waste time asking foolish questions such as "Why me always out of all the people?" That does not help take away the pain. Do not like to always compare yourself to other people because you will always see them better than yourself and further worsen your predicament. Do not even curse God when you are in trouble thinking that he is just watching over you helplessly. The Almighty never sleeps nor slumbers.
God says that he will let you go through fire but he will not let you get burned (Isaiah, 43v2). Also remember how Job praised God immediately after losing all his children and property. Know that whatever you go through in your life God is in control.

True agape!
What is this thing called agape? This word is common amongst most pentecostals and it simply means the God kind of LOVE. The word says "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have no love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal" (1corinth 13v1). How many people are holy ghost-annointed? Obviously so many. Is tongue-speaking not a sign of the manifestation of the holy spirit? Of course it is! But the bible here says if one has no love their tongues are a waste of time. Love is the foundation of Christianity. It forms the basis of anything that a Christian would do. God himself is love and where there is love there is genuine peace and joy. True love never fails, does not rejoice also in the wrong because it is the AGAPE. As Christians we are being exhorted by Christ in his greatest sermon in history, the Sermon on the Mount, that our good deeds must shine before men so that they may see them and give glory to our Heavenly Father. As a Christian you do not always have to open your mouth to evangelise but your good works alone must draw souls to God.

As a Christian I think this scripture is worth remembering so that it helps you focus on that which will take you home. What this scripture simply means is that there are some people who are in the house of God who worship him but are not doing the will of the FATHER and for that reason they will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Let me challenge you this day that in whatever you do whether at home, school or wherever ask yourself if you are doing the will of God. It would be painful at the end of times after serving God for life only to be told that you were not doing the will of the Almighty.

GOD DOES NOT FORGET HIS PEOPLE
The life giving of word of the FATHER, Jehova Almighty, unequivocally states from the prophetic book of Isaiah 49v15 that: "Can a woman forget her suckling child that she may not love the fruit of her womb? Even though she may, I will never forget you." It is normal for Christians and even the non-christians to think that God has abandonded them when they pass through hard times. Let me tell you today that God chose you and you did not choose him therefore there is absolutely no way in which he can forget you. He is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever more. He even says from the same book that:" mountains and hills may crumble, but the my steadfast love will never depart from you." Let me challenge you this day that when hard time come your way just remember the name of the father because he will never let you down. He is still capable of doing those good things that he once did for you. Amen!

Jesus, the true vine
"I am the true vine and my father is the vinedresser... Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear the fruit of itself, unless it abides in me the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me," reads part of the scripture from John 15.
Christ hereby uses an analogy of a vine and a branch in explaining what our relationship with him ought to be. As his followers we must draw ouur strength from him as the giver of life and everything that we need. This implies that unless you are rooted in christ you cannot achieve anything regardless of how much effort you put. Christ is the founadtion and stronghold of any achievement. Trust not in your intelligence because you will miss the grace of the father. Call upon the name of your God be it in your school work, marriage, finances or whatever and you will never be disappointed for He is Jehovah Jireh (the provider). I have heard some people boasting especially academics saying that they are were they are in their lives becuase of their own personal achievements and not by grace. This is a wrong perception and ignorance of God's grace. Grace is not only applicable to the so called serious situations but to everything you do whether you view it easy or difficult. Stick to God's grace and you will have something to testify about your life.

welcome to spiritual matters
The "Heaven", I hope is not new to anyone in this world inasmuch as hell is also not peculiar. The key note of this discussion is that the two are a reality and are realized at the end of each and every man's life. If you miss one of them it automatically means you will be accepted by the other. I do not think there is anyone normal who would like to find themselves in the most horrible place such as hell after departing from this life.
Remember whether you are a Christian or not, your your life is temporary in this world and there shall come a time when the Almighty will summon you into the spiritual world and that will be the end of your existence in the fresh and the the physical world.
Your final destiny which is one of the two places lies in your hands. What are you doing my brother, my father, mother, sister uncle or whoever to ensure that you do not regret at the end. Mind you, a human being is destined to live and die once and then face judgment. Failure to gain entrance into the kingdom unlike academic failure can neither be supplemented or revised.
